We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Associate – BI & Data Analytics Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Microsoft SQL technologies, ETL processes, and Azure SQL, along with a strong understanding of Agile development practices. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and application teams to deliver scalable dashboards, reports, and data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Create and optimize data models using best practices for performance and scalability.
  • Develop calculations and measures using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • Utilize Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and integration.
  • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights.

Data Integration & ETL

  • Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into reporting repositories and Azure SQL environments.
  • Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain enterprise reports using SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Support multidimensional and tabular data models using SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
  • Create automated reporting solutions and improve existing reporting frameworks.
  • Perform data analysis and validate business requirements through data insights.

Database & Cloud Technologies

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
  • Support data solutions built on Azure SQL Database.
  • Participate in database performance tuning and data optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of cloud-based analytics and reporting solutions.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) for work item tracking, backlog management, documentation, and deployment activities.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
  • Support testing, UAT, deployment, and production support activities.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics development.

  • Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Good understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and optimization techniques.

  • Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and processes.
  • Exposure to ServiceNow platform, reporting, or integrations.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud analytics and Azure data services.
