Responsible for executing Electrical Engineering technical disciplines with primary focus on design, development, modification of Electrical hardware systems. Selection of OEM components and materials for key Electrical subsystems like Power distribution box / control panel design/Cables and PCB. Perform hands-on test and validation utilizing lab equipment to characterization of the performance of the electrical/ electro-mechanical systems. Develops functional specifications for electrical/ electro-mechanical systems and power distribution components. Creation of electrical schematics and system interconnects based on requirements received from cross-disciplinary teams Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process Well versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities Interact with PG counterpart in US Study and recommend corrective solutions for technical issues of varying complexities. Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design related production issues encountered during the build process Conduct and drive Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams Be able to highlight high complexity technical risks and drive mitigation plans during project execution. Maintain and develop process checkpoints to ensure adherence to design standards and schedules. Work with leadership peers to drive process improvements as necessar Proficient in Electrical Design fundamentals and its implementation to design Semiconductor capital equipment and Proficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical Sub-systems (Semi-conductor/Automotive/Aerospace), Power Distribution/Control systems and/or Industrial Automation. Proficient in selecting Electrical/Electronic OEM components for Power Distribution/Control systems/Cables and PCB. Proficiency in Electrical/Electronic Circuit concept design, Power/Control panel Electrical Circuit Design & development with safety interlocks, Various circuit analyses, Programmable logic controllers with detailed understanding of relevant standards and compliances like - NEC, NFPA, UL 508, IEC standard, SEMI Standard (Electrical), etc., Familiar with PCB Applications for control panel Design and must have basic understanding of PCB design and component selection Proficiency in Cables design, Electrical schematics and System interconnect design. Experience in functional/bench testing & Troubleshooting of the designed subsystems before deployment. Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation Contributes to research and development efforts for future products by collecting and analyzing data to improve electrical system designs. Proficiency in defining the functional specifications for highly complex electrical/ electro-mechanical subsystems & Program level projects and capturing critical CTQs. Experience with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., process industries, medical instrumentation, automotive, aircraft, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design project. Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), signal and controls theory, development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validation.Understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems. In depth system level understanding of Electrical architecture, system integration, and applications. Experience in working with cross-disciplinary teams (including mechanical, electro-mechanical, software, process, manufacturing engineers) for major projects with multi-national work environment. Highly proficient at troubleshooting systems with tools like network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs.
