Candidates MUST have Valid Drivers License that must be held for 1 full year with no interruptions, cannot have more than 1 violation within a 2-year period on their driving record - to be considered for Driver Patrol positions
Candidates MUST be able to pass an extensive criminal background check and consent to complete and pass a drug screen
Candidates with prior 1+ Years of security experience OR military/correctional officer experience OR law enforcment experience is highly preferred

As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol - Overnights in Rochelle, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food production and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and potential product tampering to help to deter theft and workplace incidents.
- Document patrol findings and security-related incidents accurately, and communicate concerns to Allied Universal and designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
