Marketing Manager - MicroElectronics
This role describes the scope, responsibilities, and expected contribution of the Marketing Manager – Microelectronics Segment, Europe High-Tech. The role leads the European Microelectronics segment marketing across cooling, water stewardship, reliability, sustainability, and operational performance priorities.
The role translates customer needs, market trends, technical requirements, competitive insight, and commercial priorities into segment strategy, differentiated value propositions, go-to-market plans, sales enablement, and customer activation programs. It reports to the Europe High-Tech Marketing Director and works closely with Sales, Corporate Accounts, RD&E, Technical, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Supply Chain, Finance, Digital, and Global High-Tech teams.
How you'll make an impact:
Own the Europe microelectronics segment marketing strategy and support profitable growth, customer retention, pipeline creation, and improved win rates in priority accounts.
Develop segment positioning, messaging, and value propositions across water treatment, cooling chemistry, equipment, monitoring, digital tools, service, and integrated solution offerings.
Turn customer insights, voice-of-customer feedback, technical needs, sustainability drivers, regulatory trends, and competitive dynamics into actionable growth priorities.
Build and execute annual and long-range segment plans, including market development, customer prioritization, demand generation, sales activation, portfolio needs, and go-to-market execution.
Partner with Sales, Corporate Accounts, Technical, RD&E, Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional teams to align customer insight, innovation priorities, and commercial execution.
Create practical sales enablement tools, including customer messaging, competitive insights, training materials, qualification questions, proposal support, and value-selling resources.
Support commercialization of new offerings by defining launch readiness, field enablement, customer-facing content, adoption plans, and success metrics.
Work with the global market intelligence team to monitor competitor activity across water treatment, cooling, equipment, digital, service, and integrated solution providers, including relevant cooling ecosystem players.
Contribute market, customer, and competitive insight to portfolio, pricing, bundling, and program recommendations.
Strengthen Ecolab’s differentiation by connecting customer outcomes to uptime, cooling reliability, water stewardship, energy efficiency, compliance, total cost of ownership, and sustainability performance.
Represent European Microelectronics customer needs in global High-Tech, product marketing, and innovation planning.
Represent the Microelectronics segment in customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, internal business reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Marketing qualification, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, segment marketing, technical marketing, or solution commercialization.
Experience developing and executing marketing strategy, go-to-market plans, value propositions, sales enablement, or commercialization plans in a technical or industrial environment.
Experience in Microelectronicss, high-tech, microelectronics, industrial water treatment, cooling water, liquid cooling, thermal management, equipment, digital monitoring, or technical service markets preferred.
Strong understanding of segment marketing, portfolio strategy, product lifecycle management, market sizing, customer segmentation, value proposition development, and go-to-market planning.
Experience commercializing products, services, digital tools, equipment-based solutions, or integrated technical offerings in a matrix organization.
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to support pricing, bundling, total cost of ownership, and value-selling recommendations.
Ability to translate complex technical solutions, customer insight, competitive dynamics, and business performance data into clear customer value, commercial messaging, and practical growth actions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct authority.
Demonstrated strategic thinking, disciplined project management, and problem solving in a fast-moving growth market.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across Sales, Technical, RD&E, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Finance, Supply Chain, and global teams.
