Job Summary:
The client’s mission is to deliver technological solutions that align to business strategies while enabling enterprise efficiency and promoting cross-company collaborative innovation. The organization is responsible for the design and planning new solutions and projects requested by the client for enterprise Workplace services, Messaging and Collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- The Sr. Solution Architect will closely work with the client on end-to-end solution architecture, finalize design requirements, complete the technical solution with details on work breakdown structure, pricing and planning.
- Work with the project manager, project technical resources, and business stakeholders, to ensure that requirements are understood, dependencies are defined, and the solution is documented and tested.
- Will be the technical lead for end-to-end project solution, implementation and transition to the steady state operations.
- Be part of the Workplace services operations team for steady state operations and escalations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS or BA degree in Information Technology with 10+ years of progressive experience in IT.
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience implementing and integrating complex enterprise-level Messaging and Email, endpoint management, with at least 50,000 users.
- 5+ years creating code-based solutions using PowerShell, or other similar languages used for automation using JSON, XML, and other similar standard formats.
- 5+ years’ experience as technical lead in project management of large IT organizations.
- Deep technical and operational understanding of the entire Microsoft 365 productivity ecosystem - designing, administering, securing, and optimizing the M365 environment for large enterprises.
- Expert in Microsoft Entra ID – hybrid integration with on-premises Active Directory, using MS Entra Connect.
- Messaging and Collaboration: on-premises Exchange 2019 with M365 Hybrid co-existence.
- Knowledge of OpenText RightFax enterprise fax server platform and MS Groups.
- Design, deploy, secure, and maintain enterprise Windows Active Directory: Forest with multiple domains, trust relationships, Group policy management, Identity and Access Management, integration with cloud services like Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
- Develop scripts, utilities, and applications to aid in automation and steady state operations.
- Advanced Microsoft certifications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer skills, technical analysis and engineering skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization, be an effective team member and provide coordination across matrixed virtual teams and organizations.
