Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Professional Accountant to join our team in Lake Charles, LA.

This role will be responsible for general accounting duties, such as accounts payable, monthly reconciliations, month-end close entries, etc. This role also covers Capitalizations and preparation of monthly Sales and Use tax.

Responsibilities

Job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Accounts Payable

  • Sales and Use Tax

  • Capitalizations

  • Monthly Reconciliations

  • Month-end close entries (accruals/reclasses)

  • Data entry in ERP systems and Ad-hoc analysis as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

  • 2-5 years of experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

  • Prior experience in Accounts payable preferred

  • Prior experience in variance analysis preferred
