The Opportunity

We are hiring an Operations Analyst to support our Specialty Property team. This is a key early hire and a rare chance to get in on the ground floor — helping us grow an established program and expand into new adjacencies. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real responsibility early, enjoys taking open-ended problems and driving them to resolution, and wants to be a force multiplier for our growth. This is a role for a collaborative operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and can influence outcomes across the organization.


This role is ideal for a hungry self-starter with 2–3 years of experience in analytical, execution-oriented roles who is entrepreneurial and excited by the pace of an early-stage startup. You do not need prior insurance experience, but you must be curious, adaptable, and eager to learn a new industry. This role is based in New York City or the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco or Palo Alto), with in-person presence expected 3 days/week minimum.


At Vivere, operators are builders. You will have direct exposure to senior leadership, meaningful ownership over core processes, and the opportunity to grow with the business.



What You’ll Do

  • Support the Specialty Property team in building, scaling, and refining core operational processes as the program grows
  • Own day-to-day operational workflows across underwriting support, reporting, partner coordination, and internal systems
  • Analyze data and performance metrics to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement, including evaluating new adjacencies and product expansion for the Property program
  • Help design and implement tools, automations, and documentation that improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with underwriting, technology, finance, and external partners
  • Take on ambiguous projects, figure out what needs to be done, and drive them to completion
  • Act as a trusted problem-solver in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment



What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in an analytical, execution-oriented role (e.g., investment banking, consulting, private equity, insurance, or a high-growth startup)
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams without letting anything slip
  • An execution-oriented doer’s mindset — you’re willing to run through walls to get things done
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and do the work, and you love building from the ground up
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in learning the insurance business. Prior insurance experience is not required but is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and genuine excitement about building in a startup environment, with a desire to own projects end to end
  • AI proficiency: experience and willingness to use and/or discover various AI tools to drive productivity and deliver value faster
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • A growth mindset, strong work ethic, and bias toward ownership and accountability
