Position Summary
Canyon Springs Post-Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your commitment to cleanliness and attention to detail will play an important part in supporting the health, well-being, and overall experience of those we serve.
Essential Responsibilities
Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other facility spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
Dust furniture, handrails, windowsills, and other fixtures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
Clean and sanitize public restrooms and common areas according to facility standards.
Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
Follow proper infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Safely use and maintain housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
Keep housekeeping carts, storage areas, and cleaning equipment organized and sanitary.
Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or hazards promptly to the appropriate department.
Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishment.
Provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Perform additional housekeeping duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, hospitality, or related setting is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean environment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
