What you will do :
- Design & Analysis: Perform mechanical calculations for pressure vessels, shell and tube exchangers, and columns used in Refrigeration industry & oil & gas applications.
- Code Compliance: Apply ASME Sec VIII, TEMA, and API standards to determine wall thickness, flange ratings, and nozzle loads.
- Engineering Deliverables: Create technical datasheets, material requisitions, and Review General Arrangement (GA) or fabrication drawings.
- Vendor Management: Prepare Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and review/Approve vendor drawings.
- Cross-Functional Support: Coordinate with Process, Piping, and QA/QC teams to resolve shop-floor or manufacturing queries.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years in static equipment & Heat exchangers within EPC, OEM, Manufacturing, or consultancy firms.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as PV Elite, HTRI & Auto-CAD
- Code Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASME Section VIII (Div 1/2), Section II (Materials), and related codes (API 650, API 660 , TEMA etc.)
