About the role:
This role focuses on creating and driving collaborations that generate value for SEB, our customers. collaboration partners, and society. You will work across internal teams and external partners, including academia and the startup ecosystem, to transform ideas into tangible initiatives and meaningful outcomes. From identifying opportunities and building partnerships to leading implementation and evaluating impact, you will play a key role in turning innovation into action.
A key part of the role is to help develop and activate SEB´s Innovation Center as a platform for collaboration, learning, experimentation, and innovation initiatives.

As an Innovation Lead, you will be responsible for
- Developing and driving innovation initiatives that create tangible value for SEB, our customers, collaboration partners, and society.
- Understanding market and technology trends and leading innovation initiatives from idea to execution and evolution.
- Managing and coordinating complex projects involving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Building and managing strategic collaborations with academia, startups and related ecosystem including investment community, and other relevant partners.
- Identifying and pursuing new opportunities that strengthen SEB´s innovation agenda and create meaningful impact.
- Developing the Innovation Center as a platform for collaboration, experimentation, learning, and innovation.
- Planning and coordinating activities, events, and initiatives connected to the Innovation Center.
What we expect?
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience leading projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding market and technology trends for driving innovation.
- Proven ability to take initiative from idea to implementation.
- Excellent stakeholders management and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to translate ambitious goals into clear plans and concrete actions.
- A structured way of working combined with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Curiosity, resilience, and the courage to challenge established ways of working.
- A continuous drive to innovate, improve, and capitalize on opportunities.
- An advantage would be experience with partnership including startup ecosystems.
- University degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Estonian and English.
