It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.Job Description:Duties And Responsibilities:Reporting directly to the Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Technician’s responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:  Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical systems and devices within the plantKnowledge and solid understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs)Edit PLC programmingDiagnose component issuesAssist in new installations and upgrades of plant equipmentConduct process checks as requiredPerform regular safety inspections to ovensWork with and lead outside contractors as needed to complete projects or various plant maintenance functionsKeep work area safe, clean and organizedAssist and support other production floor operations as requiredKeep Manufacturing Supervisors and Manufacturing Managers informed of operational status of equipment.Complete all administrative tasks, including logbooks, data entry and record keeping in proper order; andPerform other job-related duties as assignedMandatory Overtime as required *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED6 -10 years manufacturing experienceAbility to work overtime or weekends if necessary (for projects)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)Mechanical aptitudeKnowledge of variable speed drives (programming and set-up)Experience with high pressure hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience with automated material handling systemsAbility to read and interpret blue prints, schematics and manualsExperience troubleshooting magnetic controls (e.g. switches, relays and solenoids)Knowledge and experience terminating transformers and electric motorsDemonstrated understanding and knowledge of OSHA’s electrical safe work practices (e.g. Lock-out/Tag-out, NFPA 70 Electrical Code, NFPA 79 Machinery Standards)Demonstrate knowledge of basic troubleshooting and calibration for electronicsBasic knowledge of servo and stepper motors and drivesExperience with installing and fashioning electrical conduit and installing electrical wireway and associated hangersAble to use DVM, analog type...
