Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting full-stack software solutions that drive business value and enhance the customer experience. This individual will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, leveraging Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) practices, including test-driven development, paired programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and services.
Build and support web-based applications utilizing Microsoft technologies and modern software development practices.
Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and production support.
Develop high-quality code using test-driven development (TDD) methodologies.
Participate in daily paired programming sessions and collaborative code reviews.
Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and daily standups.
Collaborate with team members on software design and architecture decisions, and advocate for engineering best practices, automation, and software quality standards.
Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while maintaining service reliability and identify opportunities for process improvements and technical enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of software engineering experience developing enterprise applications.
Strong experience with: ASP.NET, C# .NET, .NET Framework, HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript, SQL Server, ADO.NET, MS-IIS
Experience building and consuming APIs and web services
Experience working in Agile software development environments
Demonstrate strong understanding of software design principes and development best practices.
