Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.Job DescriptionSummary: The Warehouse Technician – Lead SWING SHIFT oversees daily warehouse operations, manages staff, and ensures accurate inventory control and efficient material flow. This role supports supervisory tasks and drives improvements in logistics, inventory systems, and warehouse processes. The Lead Technician also coordinates closely with procurement and production teams to maintain clear communication and alignment across operations.  Schedule: First 30 days – Monday through Friday: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm After 30 days – Monday through Thursday: 11:30 am – 10:00 pm (*subject to change on company needs) Accountabilities:Assign and oversee daily tasks for warehouse staff during the SWING SHIFT.Coordinate with departments to meet production and delivery deadlines.Train and mentor team members.Lead safety meetings and enforce safety protocols.Track team performance and report to management.Optimize warehouse layout for better material flow and space use.Support hiring and evaluate staff performance.Act as the main contact for materials and inventory coordination.Help plan staffing and manage shift coverage.Join team meetings and support process improvements.Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance.Organize and maintain storage areas with clear labeling to support fast picking and restockingUse MRP software (Dynamics 365) to track inventory, monitor demand, and create purchase/work ordersReceive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and qualityWork closely with procurement and production to ensure material availability and accurate forecastingPerform cycle counts, resolve inventory discrepancies, and maintain proper stock levelsManage shipping and receiving, including paperwork, scheduling, and timely deliveriesKeep the warehouse clean and compliant with safety standard. Identify and support process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracyQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or related industrial environment preferred.Prior leadership or team lead experience required.Valid forklift certification required.Exceptional organizational skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.Demonstrated ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing setting.Proven track record of consistent attendance and workplace reliability.Ability to read, interpret, and apply blueprints and technical documents.Capable of lifting equipment and tools up to 50 pounds and pushing/pulling loads up to 100 pounds.Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate teams.Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.Comfortable working in diverse indoor and outdoor weather conditions.Commitment to strict adherence to safety protocols and fostering a culture of safety and compliance.Must successfully pass background check and drug screening.
