Your role and responsibilities
The internship program is offered for a fixed period of 3 months, with the possibility of extending the collaboration based on performance and business needs. As an Application Developer Intern specializing in IBM Mainframe zOS environments, you will have the opportunity to develop foundational technical skills while supporting application development activities. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain hands-on exposure to mainframe technologies, programming languages, and enterprise systems that power critical business applications.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Introduction to z/OS Concepts: Basic awareness of the z/OS environment and an interest in learning how mainframe systems support enterprise applications and business processes.
- Foundational Mainframe Exposure: Familiarity through coursework, projects, or self-study with mainframe concepts such as JCL, TSO/ISPF, REXX, VSAM, or related tools is an advantage but not required.
- Programming Fundamentals: Basic understanding of programming concepts and exposure to at least one language (e.g., COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, Java, Python, or similar) gained through academic projects or coursework.
- Database Basics: Understanding of fundamental database concepts, with exposure to relational or hierarchical databases through studies or personal projects.
- Interest in Transaction Processing Systems: Awareness of enterprise application environments and a willingness to learn technologies such as CICS or IMS as part of on-the-job training.
- Learning Mindset: Strong curiosity, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to develop technical knowledge in mainframe technologies and enterprise application development.
