Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst
All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments and governmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process user access requests in alignment with identity lifecycle management procedures, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.
· Create, modify, and disable user accounts across enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, Okta) ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Administer group memberships and access permissions based on the principle of least privilege.
· Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues such as account lockouts, authentication failures, and provisioning errors.
· Maintain and manage IAM-related tickets within established service level agreements (SLAs).
· Collaborate with IT ServiceDesk, HR, and business units to validate access requirements and ensure proper authorization.
· Monitor identity and access activity for anomalies and escalate potential security concerns as appropriate.
· Support periodic access reviews, audits, and compliance initiatives (e.g., HIPAA, SOX) by generating reports and remediating findings.
· Maintain accurate documentation of IAM processes, procedures, and system configurations.
· Identify opportunities to improve IAM processes through automation and standardization.
· Participate in IAM-related projects and initiatives to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
· Provide guidance to end users on access request processes and authentication tools.
· Escalate complex issues to senior IAM or security personnel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience:
· 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or user account administration required.
· Experience working in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment.
· Familiarity with identity and access management concepts and user lifecycle processes.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Working knowledge of Active Directory (user and group management required).
· Familiarity with Okta or similar SSO/IAM platforms preferred.
· Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including least privilege and access control.
· Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) preferred.
· Ability to use administrative tools or scripts for bulk account operations.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to collaborate with teams and provide strong customer service.
· Ability to follow established procedures and maintain compliance with security standards.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred but not required.
Certification & Licensure:
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, Okta) are preferred but not required.
