Senior Support Engineer, Foreign System Interface (FSI)

As a Senior Support Engineer in the Support Services team in London, you will provide specialist support for Foreign System Interface (FSI) capabilities within Cerner Millennium. You will help international healthcare customers resolve complex technical issues, maintain critical interfaces and support reliable services that enable better healthcare delivery.

What you will do
Serve as a primary contact for customers, building trusted relationships and responding to FSI service requests, change requests and enquiries.
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex issues across front-end and back-end applications, escalating advanced technical issues to the appropriate teams when required.
Manage service requests in line with service level agreements and key performance indicators, prioritising work by severity and urgency.
Communicate progress and resolutions clearly to customers and internal collaborators, ensuring issues are fully addressed.
Collaborate with internal teams to report design, reliability and maintenance issues, and contribute to the resolution of routine and non-routine problems.
Document investigation notes, activities, resolutions and knowledge articles throughout the service request lifecycle.
Maintain registration and scheduling, orders, results and documentation interfaces, including ADT, SIU, ORM, ORU and MDM message types.
Support interface monitoring and post-go-live maintenance to help maintain system reliability and performance.
Analyse and execute ad-hoc Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts to resolve technical issues and improve system functionality.
Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support outside normal business hours as needed.
What you will bring
A bachelor's degree in information technology, healthcare or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Proficient English language skills.
Experience working with Health Level Seven (HL7) standards.
Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) knowledge.
At least two years of Cerner Millennium interface experience.
