Supplier Development & Readiness Engineer
Bring your energy to Aggreko as Supplier Development & Readiness Engineer. The role is responsible for developing and industrializing suppliers to ensure timely delivery of production-ready components that meet quality, cost, delivery, and technical requirements. The role covers the entire supplier lifecycle from supplier selection, tooling development, APQP/PPAP approval, process validation, and manufacturing readiness through to SOP and launch support.

What you’ll do:
Supplier Development: Identify, assess, and develop suppliers for Heavy Fabrication, Sheet Metal Components, Welded Assemblies, Fuel Tanks, Base Frames/Skids, Generator Canopies, Powder Coating & Industrial Painting.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead supplier development activities from nomination to SOP.
Tooling & Process Development: Manage development and validation of tooling, fixtures, gauges, and jigs.
APQP & PPAP: Lead supplier APQP and PPAP activities, ensuring completion and approval of key documents like APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Process Flow, Control Plans, and Capability Studies.
Supplier Readiness & Launch: Drive manufacturing, quality, capacity, and supply chain readiness before SOP.
Supplier Performance Improvement: Drive supplier quality, delivery, and productivity improvements.
You are:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
7–12 years in Supplier Development, Vendor Development, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality.
Strong expertise in supplier management, including identification, assessment, and the ability to lead development activities from NPI through to production.
Proficiency in quality and process methodologies such as APQP and PPAP, with experience in managing tooling, and process development, validation and ensuring manufacturing readiness.
