HR Supervisor (Labor relations)

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a HR Supervisor (Labor relations).

What you’ll do:

Manage Human Resources processes related to Personnel Administration, Labor Relations, and Employee Services, in order to maintain a healthy work environment while ensuring the alignment of these processes with corporate policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and client expectations within the scope of the relevant areas #LI-SL4 Job Responsibilities Supervise personnel administration processes by validating the application of incidents and weekly and biweekly payroll processes, and reviewing processes related to payroll preparation (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, SOX, organizational changes, severance payments, and terminations). • Manage and ensure the proper administration of additional benefits provided by the company (major medical insurance, life insurance, pension plan, savings fund, discount agreements, etc.). • Audit the organizational structure to ensure it is up to date, guaranteeing alignment between the local and global systems. • Address operational plant requirements (overtime, shift changes, shift schedules, absenteeism, etc.) with the on-site Union Delegate or escalate union representation requests to the appropriate level depending on the type of request. • Promote and monitor compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, standards, and legal labor requirements by personnel, and apply, if necessary, the provisions of the CBA, Internal Work Regulations, and/or Federal Labor Law. • Conduct the evaluation process of the union's petition and support activities related to the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiation process. • Manage the budget allocated to activities related to the scope of the position, ensuring compliance with internal control processes established by Purchasing and Finance. • Prepare and update documents (procedures, policies, regulations, work instructions, formats, etc.) related to compliance with Quality and EHS Management Systems, corporate, and legal requirements. • Ensure access to information related to benefits and compensation for company personnel, complying with statutes and ensuring adherence to policy. • Manage the internship agreement with the institution established by the company. • Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance through enhanced employee engagement and manager effectiveness while ensuring legal compliance.

  • Monitor and maintenance of corporate metrics, such as Retention, Turnover, Attendance, Absenteeism, Overtime, Services, etc.

• Support for HR Manager in Labor investigations and the proper application of disciplinary measures. • Responsible for employees services such as transportation and canteen. • Perform special projects as assigned by the HR Manager

Qualifications:

Education level required Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business, Psychology or equivalent

Years of experience required 5+ years

Area of expertise Experience in similar position Experience in HR in complex organizations or in greenfields (new location/operation/production plant)

Technical knowledge *Human resources processes (Labor relations, Personnel administration, Employee services) Fluent in English at business level. • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Success factors knowledge (preferably) • TRESS system knowledge • Labor relations in a unionized environment • Mexican Labor law knowledge • Experience leading people • ISO 90001 knowledge • OEA/CTPAT knowledge
