How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

To work with the Lab Team to ensure all manufactured goods are finished, tested and quality checked in line with agreed service levels both in the UK and export market, ensuring all relevant legislation is adhered to, customer service level agreements are achieved and costs are kept to a minimum where possible along with good disciplines of Time and Attendance, Profitability, Training and Health and Safety, whilst driving continuous improvement in terms of efficiency and employee availability

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • General laboratory administration duties as necessary 

  • Maintaining high company health and safety standards, always ensuring that company rules and guidelines are adhered to. 

  • Ensuring companies’ quality expectations are met. Striving to meet customers’ demands and giving customers the best experience where possible.

  • Working efficiently whilst maintaining health and safety rules plus quality standards, ensuring companies strict production deadlines and delivery targets are met. 

  • Labelling of High Pressure Cylinder Products 

  • Follow special instructions from customer order requirements, getting to know all the major 

customers. 

  • Work tidily at all times keeping the Laboratory and facility tidy and safe at all times. 

  • Understand Sage processing. 

  • Problem solving from an operational and customer point of view ensuring that your own 

  • initiative is used where possible and escalating where necessary. . Communicate any issues to senior management and operational departments as necessary. 

  • Ensure all health and safety is adhered to at all times and all PPE is fit for purpose 

  • Support management team with regard to maintenance of health and safety and ISO 

quality programs. 

  • Performing routine analyses of compressed gas cylinders (Non-Refillable Cylinders and High Pressure Cylinders) using a variety of analytical methods and equipment

  • Quality Control Finished orders ready for despatch.

  • Run MPS as and when required.

  • SDS Creation

  • BOM Creation

  • Employees are frequently required to talk and/or hear. 

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, colour vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

  • Requires use of computer & telephone. 

  • Manual Handling of Cylinders using totes, trolleys and carts.
