• Partner with a team of healthcare, technical and project management consultants to ensure the seamless integration, data
migration and system performance of Epic systems
• Leverage technical expertise in Epic modules providing support to optimize the systems functionality in workflow and
technology to improve hospital operations and financial outcomes
• Provide guidance and recommendations on Epic applications offering suggestions and participating in discussions on
operational and technology improvements
• Identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement to improve efficiency and user satisfaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Epic Professional Billing Administration (PB Admin) Certification is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of Epic Professional Billing experience in implementation, optimization, support, or consulting
environments.
• Strong understanding of professional billing workflows, charge capture, claim generation, and revenue cycle processes.
• Experience facilitating client meetings, workflow analysis, and requirements gathering.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required based on client needs.
Preferences:
• Candidates who possess Epic PB Admin Certification paired with one of the following certifications are strongly preferred:
Expected Reimbursement Certification, Hospital Billing (HB) Certification, Professional Billing Claims Certification
• Epic consulting experience within a healthcare IT consulting firm.
• Experience with revenue cycle transformation and optimization initiatives.
• Knowledge of payer reimbursement methodologies and reimbursement modeling.
• Experience supporting multi-hospital or large integrated delivery networks.
• Familiarity with Epic upgrades, enhancements, and workflow redesign projects.
• Strong understanding of integrated Revenue Cycle workflows across PB, HB, and Claims.
The estimated base rate range for this job will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs. The rate range of information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
