Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.Job DescriptionFollowing prescribed procedures and performing tests within any laboratory specialty; calculating results as necessaryOperating, calibrating, conducting performance checks, and maintaining laboratory analyzers or equipmentRecognizing and correcting basic analyzer malfunctions; notifying management when appropriatePreparing reagents or media from prescribed proceduresEvaluating media, reagents, and calibrators according to established criteriaConducting quality control procedures on analytical tests, equipment, reagents, media, and products; evaluating QC results and implementing corrective action when neededDetermining performance specifications for new methodsPerforming instrument maintenance, QC reagents, and kitsPerforming routine testing including assay validationsConfirming and verifying results through knowledge of techniques, principles, and analyzersMonitoring quality assurance/continuous improvement programsMonitoring safety programs in compliance with laboratory regulationsUsing laboratory information systems or other methods to accurately and effectively report patient resultsReviewing and following Standard Operating ProceduresReporting test results according to established proceduresSupporting Eurofins DPT’s business philosophy, leadership values, and ethicsMeeting Eurofins DPT’s quality policy and objectives, including good workmanship, adherence to SOPs, training, good documentation practices, and accurate recordkeepingQualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institutionIf required by the state, the appropriate state license to perform clinical laboratory testingWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMinimum 1 years of related experience preferredKnowledge of principles, methods, materials, equipment, and techniques of medical technologyKnowledge of chemistry, biology, and bacteriology as related to medical technologyKnowledge of recent developments in medical technologyAbility to perform assigned tasks according to prescribed procedures and make accurate observations and records of test resultsSkill in using medical laboratory equipmentStrong communication skills and analytical thinkingPerforms instrument maintenancePerforms freezer, refrigerator, and incubator maintenancePerforms QC reagents...
