Citizens' equity research department covers 400+ public companies and provides institutional clients with comprehensive industry knowledge, unique insight and actionable information. Our senior research analysts are charged with developing proprietary investment themes, anticipating secular and cyclical changes and producing action-oriented reports. Citizens follows companies in seven broad growth industries: Technology, Healthcare, Financial Services, Consumer, Industrial , Digital Infrastructure and Real Estate—and produces specialized equity research that enables investors to understand and invest in complicated growth stocks profitably. 
 We are seeking an Associate to join its Transportation, Logistics & Services Group in New York. The Research Associate will be involved in all facets of research activities and will play an integral role supporting the coverage of more than 22 publicly traded companies interacting with company executives, presenting to the salesforce, and communicating with public investors, venture capital firms and private equity firms.
The specific responsibilities of the Associate include, but are not limited to, writing research reports, financial analysis and modeling, conducting industry and company-specific research, coordinating the various processes involved in generating actionable, proprietary research. As part of their responsibilities, the associate will be expected to study for and pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam as well as the Series 86 and Series 87 exams. Responsibilities:Create and maintain financial modelsPerform financial analysis and due diligenceWrite company specific and thematic investment-driven research reportsConduct research from the primary literature, proprietary databases, tailored industry surveysAttend meetings with management teams and investor conferencesAnalyze and update investment themes and ideas across the Internet sectorRespond to requests from institutional sales force and from clients Skills/Qualifications Required:1-2 years of research experience strongly preferred Live in, or ability to relocate to, New YorkAn understanding of stocks and the stock marketBasic understanding of accounting and financeBachelor's degree along with outstanding academic achievement, CFA, MBA, or courses in financial modeling or accounting preferable. High level of proficiency with ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership and team working skillsSuperior work ethic  Hours & Work Schedule

    • Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays in person at 1301 Avenue of the Americas, New York, New YorkPay Transparency The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus.
