Job purpose:
For our Milan office, we are seeking a Buyer Raw Materials to support sourcing and operational purchasing activities related to API and Raw Materials suppliers across Bracco Imaging’s network.
The role contributes to supplier scouting, negotiation activities, purchase order follow-up and procurement improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with Quality, Regulatory and internal compliance requirements, particularly in relation to the qualification of new suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting sourcing and negotiation activities for raw materials required by Bracco API Manufacturing Operations;

  • Managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase order issuance and supplier follow-up, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and business needs;

  • Issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and supporting supplier selection activities for API and Raw Materials procurement;

  • Contributing to supplier qualification and re-qualification processes in collaboration with the responsible Procurement function;

  • Supporting the preparation and execution of contracts in compliance with Global Legal Affairs & Compliance policies, procedures and guidelines;

  • Ensuring effective purchase order expediting and delivery performance monitoring to optimize lead times, while tracking and reporting relevant Key Performance Indicators;

  • Supporting budget planning, price forecasting and procurement target setting in collaboration with the Procurement Manager, Raw Materials and Strategic API;

  • Conducting market and supplier analysis to identify risks, opportunities and potential new sources of supply.


Functional Knowledge and Minimum Experience:

  • Good proficiency in the main Microsoft Office applications;

  • Solid knowledge of SAP ERP;

  • Professional working proficiency in English and in Italian;

  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and negotiation principles;

  • Ability to support the identification, qualification and development of new suppliers in line with business needs;

  • Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, quality, purchasing or supplier management, preferably in a pharmaceutical, chemical or regulated manufacturing environment, would be considered a plus;

  • A master’s degree in a related field is considered a plus; however, candidates with equivalent technical qualifications and experience will be equally valued.

Employment terms:

The role is classified at Level C under the National Collective Agreement for the Chemical-Pharmaceutical Industry (CCNL Chimico-Farmaceutico).
The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 36.556,24.
The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
