About usEricsson is opening a state‑of‑the‑art R&D center in Yokohama focused on Radio and Software development. This new hub will support leading Japanese CSPs, partner with local vendors and deliver Japan‑driven products and solutions that shape networks worldwide. We are establishing and growing the team and building advanced laboratory and office facilities. We are hiring across different experience levels — from early‑career engineers to experienced developers and technical leaders.The opportunityYou would participate in and lead radio system design work for a cross‑functional engineering team to turn high‑level market and product needs into concrete requirements for next‑generation radio products. The role combine hands‑on technical ownership: defining and documenting product/spec requirements, driving continuous product and process improvements, troubleshooting and customer support, and coordinating with Product Management, program teams and other design sites. We welcome applicants across a range of experience levels -- from early‑career engineers eager to grow in radio system engineering to senior engineers seeking technical leadership opportunities - with background in wireless communications, radio systems, firmware, hardware, software, or systems engineering with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Computer Science or related field (BSc/MSc or equivalent)Having a willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute to team and product success regardless of experience level.Desired skills
