This Maintenance Technician II role at our Auburndale, FL facility ensures equipment reliability and supports continuous production through skilled troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process improvements. What You’ll Do for Us 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve realtime technical issues on production lines to maintain operational standards and minimize disruptions. 

  • Repair and maintain diverse production equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with process requirements and product quality. 

  • Respond to equipment malfunctions and emergencies promptly, supporting continuous manufacturing operations with minimal downtime. 

  • Maintain and analyze maintenance records to identify recurring issues, improve reliability, and inform longterm strategies. 

  • Prepare technical documentation, diagrams, and reports to address reliability challenges and implement solutions aligned with best practices. 

  • Utilize data management systems to track performance metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and conduct failure analysis. 

  • Support facilitywide continuous improvement initiatives that deploy new methods, tools, and technologies for enhanced productivity. 

  • Execute and optimize Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs, applying advanced techniques to enhance equipment lifespan and performance. 

  • Facilitate Equipment Criticality assessments and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) sessions for risk identification and prevention. 

  • Apply predictive technologies, including vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and motor testing, to improve performance reliability. 

  • Develop and update structured maintenance plans based on historical data, failure patterns, and emerging best practices. 

  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers during acceptance testing to ensure quality standards and functional compliance. 

  • Create and maintain clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide safe, effective execution of maintenance tasks by team members. 

Requirements & Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience  

  • Minimum 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Reliability expertise with at least 3 years in asset performance improvement preferred. 

  • Strong mechanical and electrical proficiency within continuous production settings. 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a structured maintenance organization with planning tools and documented processes. 

  • Familiarity with qualitycertified environments such as ISO programs. 

  • Proven ability to monitor and improve Preventive and Predictive Maintenance performance using analytics and KPIs. 

  • Skilled in industrial electrical systems, mechanical/electrical devices, circuits, robotics, PLCs, and automated equipment. 

  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for planning and execution. 

  • Analytical strength and problemsolving skills using data tools to identify and implement reliability improvements.

Pay Range:

United States of America: 69,077 USD - 84,427 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
