About the role
Leads and coordinates the engineering team supporting new product introductions, engineering changes, and product improvement initiatives. Ensures projects meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance objectives while providing technical leadership and project oversight. Develops team capabilities and supports organizational readiness for future business needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisor, Project Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
New Product Introduction (NPI)
Coordinate execution of NPI activities across assigned programs or product families.
Monitor project deliverables, action items, risks, and timing to support successful launch execution.
Support pilot builds, launch readiness reviews, validation activities, and production ramp-up.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with product and process launches.
Engineering Change Management
Oversee execution and follow-up of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) across assigned products or programs.
Ensure impacts to BOM, manufacturing process, tooling, inventory, validation, cost, and schedule are evaluated and communicated.
Coordinate change implementation with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Operations.
Monitor ECN timing, approval status, documentation, implementation, and closure activities.
Prioritize engineering changes based on business impact, launch timing, and operational risk.

As a minimum you must have:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:
4-5 years of experience in Product Engineering, New Product Introduction (NPI), Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, or Technical Project Leadership.
1-3 years of experience leading projects, coordinating technical teams, or providing functional supervision is required or strongly preferred.
Technical Knowledge
Product development lifecycle and New Product Introduction processes.
ERP systems, preferably SAP, and CAD systems such as Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
Engineering Change Management, BOM structure, technical documentation, and implementation planning.
Root Cause Analysis, corrective actions, structured problem solving, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and control plans.
Language:
Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience supervising or coordinating engineers or technical resources.
Experience supporting NPI launches within HVAC, refrigeration, appliance, or manufacturing industries.
Experience working with global engineering teams and manufacturing sites.
