We are seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities on the Team 

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders (product owners, UX researchers, data team, QA team, project managers, cross team leads and designers) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
  • Responsible for planning work estimation and forecasting.
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, security standards and best practices.
  • Investigate and propose solutions to development and design problems.
  • Conduct analysis to determine integration needs, and design and plan integrations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including software design evaluation plans and test results.
  • Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.
  • Implement unit and integration tests and conduct functional and performance testing where appropriate.
  • Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality business outcomes. 
  • Develop reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery.
  • Improve performance of existing software by diagnosing and resolving critical issues. 
  • Establish development practices and processes.
  • Manage and mentor software engineers

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree in computer science and worked at a company for 5+ years with web technology stack and web standards.

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or equivalent degree and worked at a company for 7+ years with web technology stack and web standards
  • Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. 
  • Proven track record for managing a team of developers to achieve company goals. 
  • Proven track record for architecting, scaling and implementing complex technical solutions.
  • Proven track record of leadership in Agile environments, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for mentoring and empowering team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET / .NET 8 and ASP.NET MVC
  • C# (7+ years) with deep understanding of advanced principles of client-side and server-side development.
  • SQL Server proficiency, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
  • JavaScript and experience with a component UI library (Kendo UI strongly preferred)
  • Proven background in configuring and securing file transfer protocols and converting to an automated process using API to trigger, monitor and automate file movements
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration patterns

  • Experience with a version control platform like GitHub or GitLab.
  • Knowledge in building and tooling processes such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and package managers, coupled with extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex issues.

  • GoAnywhere MFT
  • TypeScript and React / Next.js
  • Python for scripting and data processing
  • Experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, or banking domain
  • Exposure to additional cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
