Clinical Triage Specialist - Och Spine

Weill Cornell and Columbia University affiliates. As a Clinical Triage Specialist, you will serve as a central clinical resource, collaborating with multiple internal and external clinical and non-clinical departments.

You will be provided extensive training in spine care and access mechanisms to facilitate your role in identifying emergent conditions and facilitating appropriate scheduling of patients across multidisciplinary services.  

We are seeking a driven and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Och Spine at New York-Presbyterian team as a Clinical Triage Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will work with spine providers from our Weill Cornell and Columbia University affiliates. As a Clinical Triage Specialist, you will serve as a central clinical resource, collaborating with multiple internal and external clinical and non-clinical departments.

Required Criteria
  • Extensive training in spine with a background in Neurological or Orthopedic nursing preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience

  • Computer fluency, excellent phone communication skills are important as well as the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s degree

  • Healthcare operations experience

  • Previous experience working with customer relationship management tools

  • Effective in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

$116,500-$157,500/Annual
