Sales Commission Analyst II - MX
Job Summary
The Sales Commission Analyst II is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Rackspace's sales compensation programs, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant commission processing. Reporting to the Sales Compensation Manager for the Americas, this role partners closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Payroll, HR, and Sales leaders to administer incentive compensation plans, resolve commission inquiries, maintain compensation data, and support ongoing process improvements.
The Analyst II plays a key role in delivering an exceptional seller experience by ensuring commission calculations are accurate, issues are resolved promptly, and compensation processes support Rackspace's Go-to-Market strategy.

Sales Compensation Administration
· Administer assigned sales compensation plans in accordance with approved plan documents and policies.
· Calculate, validate, and process monthly and quarterly commission payments.
· Review commission calculations for completeness and accuracy prior to payroll submission.
· Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies, exceptions, and inquiries from sales employees and managers.
· Support commission adjustments, true-ups, recoveries, and manual calculations when required.
Incentive Compensation Systems
· Maintain employee, territory, quota, crediting, and compensation data within the Incentive Compensation Management platform (Captivate IQ).
· Assist with data validation, system testing, and periodic system updates.
· Identify data quality issues and partner with Sales Operations and HR to resolve discrepancies.
· Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
· Prepare recurring commission reports and dashboards for Sales, Finance, and Total Rewards leadership.
· Assist with commission forecasting, accrual support, and financial reporting.
· Analyze commission trends and identify unusual payment activity requiring further review.
· Support audit requests and maintain documentation supporting commission calculations.
Cross-Functional Partnership
· Partner with Sales Operations to ensure accurate opportunity crediting and sales hierarchy alignment.
· Collaborate with Payroll to ensure timely commission payments.
· Support Finance with monthly accruals and reconciliation activities.
· Work with HR and Sales leadership to explain commission plans and resolve participant questions.
Governance & Compliance
· Maintain accurate documentation supporting commission calculations and plan administration.
· Ensure administration activities comply with company policies and approved compensation plans.
· Participate in internal and external audit requests as needed.
· Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Mathematics, or a related field.
· Approximately 2–5 years of experience in sales compensation, payroll, finance, sales operations, or compensation administration.
· Experience working with incentive compensation management systems (such as SAP Callidus, Captivate IQ, or similar) preferred.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and data analysis.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Ability to interpret compensation plans and perform complex calculations accurately.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience working in a global or multinational organization is preferred.
· English proficiency required.
