Graduate Project Manager - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary:

Valeo is seeking a highly motivated and organised Graduate Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in project management within a dynamic electronics manufacturing environment, supporting various projects from initiation to completion.

Job Responsibilities:

* Assist Senior Project Managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of assigned projects.
* Support the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Coordinate project activities, resources, and information effectively.
* Track project progress, identify potential risks, and report on status to stakeholders.
* Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
* Support the resolution of project issues and escalate complex problems as necessary.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the project management office.
* Ensure projects adhere to company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* A strong desire to learn and develop project management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Previous internship or work experience in a project-oriented environment is a plus but not essential.
