We create highly accurate digital representations of residential and commercial properties using 3D capture technologies. As demand continues to grow, we are looking for several experienced property damage experts to join our team.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p><span>We are seeking an experienced Home Damage Assessor (or Digital Property Consultant) with a background in property insurance assessments or residential building repairs. You may have previously worked as a Home Assessor, Building Consultant, Repair Supervisor, Builder or Tradesperson specialising in insurance repairs.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span>You understand how to identify property damage, distinguish between different types of defects, and recognise what information is required to support an effective repair or insurance review.</span></p><p><span>Rather than carrying out insurance assessments or determining claim outcomes, your role will be to use your expertise to create highly accurate digital records of damaged properties using 3D capture technology.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>No prior 3D capture technology experience is required</strong>—we will provide comprehensive training.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who We’re Looking For</strong></p><p><span>We’re looking for someone who has worked in one of the following roles:</span></p><ul><li><span>Home Assessor</span></li><li><span>Property Damage Assessor</span></li><li><span>Building Consultant</span></li><li><span>Insurance Building Supervisor</span></li><li><span>Drone Pilot</span></li><li><span>Repair Supervisor</span></li><li><span>Builder specialising in insurance repairs</span></li><li><span>Carpenter or licensed Builder with extensive internal repair experience</span></li><li><span>Restoration Supervisor</span></li><li><span>Building Estimator or Repair Scope Writer</span></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Most importantly,</strong> you have spent years walking through damaged homes and can confidently identify damage from:</p><ul><li>Escape of Liquid (water) damage</li><li>Storm damage</li><li>Fire and smoke damage</li><li>Impact damage</li><li>Mould and moisture-related issues</li><li>Structural and non-structural defects</li><li>Internal finishes requiring repair or replacement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li>Visit residential properties throughout Sydney Metro.</li><li>Create high-quality digital twins using 3D capture technology.</li><li>Apply your building and insurance knowledge to ensure all visible damage is accurately documented.</li><li>Capture complete digital evidence of the property using standardised SyncTech workflows.</li><li>Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every site visit.</li><li>Work closely with our Operations, Product and Tech teams to continually improve our digital capture processes.</li></ol><p><br></p><p>This role does not involve determining insurance claim outcomes, negotiating claims, or acting on behalf of an insurer or policyholder. The role is focused solely on the technical documentation and digital capture of property conditions.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience as a Home Assessor; or</li><li>Previous experience as a Builder or Tradesperson repairing internal building damage; or</li><li>Previous experience within insurance building repairs or restoration.</li><li>Strong understanding of residential construction methods.</li><li>Ability to confidently identify and document building damage.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Full unencumbered Australian Driver’s Licence.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Highly Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Trade qualification (Carpentry, Building, Plumbing or similar).</li><li>Escape of Liquid (EOL) claims experience.</li><li>Repair scoping experience.</li><li>Building estimating experience.</li><li>Insurance building consulting experience.</li><li>3D capture technology experience (training provided).</li><li>Interest in technology, AI and digital innovation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>We will provide</strong></p><ul><li>Start-up flexible fast paced work environment</li><li>Great team members</li><li>Full time competitive salary + Superannuation</li><li>Car allowance</li><li><span>3D capture technologies</span></li><li>Training</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Application requirement</strong></p><ul><li>Supply their own vehicle and computer.</li><li>Reference: A professional reference from a previous employer or relevant contact.</li><li>Educational Records: A copy of your educational certificates or degrees.</li><li>Police Check: A current police clearance certificate.</li><li>Signed NDA: Employee Non-Disclosure Agreement, to be provided upon offer.</li></ul>
