KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Detailed engineering of Compressor packages and its auxiliaries in accordance with the international standards like API, ISO, ASME, etc.
  • Equipment sizing, selection, and detailed engineering of compressor support systems in accordance with the latest API Standards (main & auxiliary drivers, heat exchangers, seal gas heaters, lube oil pumps, instruments, gages, surge control valves and systems, etc.)
  • Preparation of technical documentation such as P&ID, Datasheets, GA Drawings, other customer facing documents, etc.
  • Preparation of RFQ and evaluation of vendor offers for compressor package auxiliaries like lube oil systems, dry gas seal systems, pressure vessels, control valves, filters, etc.
  • Creation of part numbers in ERP system and generation of Bill of Materials.
  • Conduct design reviews, identify risks, and provide recommendations. 
  • Conduct meetings with Customer and Suppliers as and when needed.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical rotating equipment engineering
  • Working knowledge of rotating equipment like compressors, pumps, turbines, etc. and auxiliary support systems like dry gas seal systems, lube oil systems, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves, filters, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of applicable industry standards (API-617, 692, 614, AGMA, NACE, etc.)
  • Familiarity with engineering documentation and design standards
  • Excellent team player.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
