Software Engineer, Growth
About Broccoli AI
BAt Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world.
We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done.
Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan.
Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built.
Today:
Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day.
We've grown to $15M+ ARR in under two years.
We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry.
We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.
We're still just getting started.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer, Growth to build the systems, experiments, and internal tools that help Broccoli acquire, convert, and support more customers.
This role is ideal for a strong engineer who likes moving quickly, shipping production-quality code, and working on high-leverage problems across product, growth, and operations. You’ll work on the infrastructure behind growth initiatives — from lead flow and funnel instrumentation to internal workflows and tooling that help the company scale. Partner with product, growth, and operations to identify bottlenecks and turn them into reliable software
Design and run experiments that improve acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention
Improve data flows, instrumentation, and operational visibility across the funnel
Move quickly from ambiguous problem statements to shipped solutions with measurable impact
What You’ll Bring
Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to write production-level code
Full-stack capabilities, with comfort leaning backend when needed
Experience building internal tools, growth systems, or product infrastructure
Comfort working in ambiguity and figuring things out without a fully specified roadmap
Strong product and operational instincts
Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize for business impact
Nice to Have
Experience on growth, monetization, or acquisition-focused engineering teams
Familiarity with experimentation systems, funnel analytics, and CRM / GTM workflows
Experience in startup environments with high ownership and fast iteration
Exposure to vertical software, marketplaces, or workflow automation
