Back to all rolesSenior Analyst - Credit Control & AnalysisApplyJob detailsAnalytics / AnalyticsStockholmFull-timekr 662,476 SEK - kr 831,010 SEKWhat you will doAs a Senior Analyst within Credit Control & Analysis, you will be responsible for credit risk monitoring and performance analysis across Klarna’s markets and products. You will review and interpret analytical dashboards covering cohort losses, delinquencies, roll rates, provisions, fraud and disputes, and balances to identify shifts in risk drivers and proactively raise insights to senior stakeholders, including CXO audiences. This position serves as a center of excellence for credit risk monitoring, driving actions across domains and ensuring strong collaboration between Finance, Product, Collections, Modelling, and Risk. You will execute and oversee key controls and reconciliations, support Net Loss reporting and book close processes, contribute to IFRS9 and Expected Credit Loss routines, and deliver high-quality regulatory and periodic reporting. In addition, you will lead investigations into anomalies, explain performance movements, maintain analytical infrastructure and automation pipelines, and continuously improve reporting frameworks to strengthen governance and decision-making.Who you are• University degree in a numerate field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or similar• Strong experience in credit risk analytics, financial services, or banking environments• Solid understanding of credit loss metrics, delinquency trends, provisions, and IFRS9 or Expected Credit Loss frameworks• Experience performing controls and reconciliations in financial or risk reporting environments• Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear insights for senior stakeholders• Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using SQL, Python, or similar tools• Strong written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAwesome to have• Experience supporting regulatory reporting such as FinRep or supervisory authority requests• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, or Debt Collection teams• Knowledge of consumer credit products and lifecycle dynamics• Experience maintaining data pipelines or automated reporting infrastructure• Experience preparing materials for credit committees or senior governance forumPlease include a CV in English.Curious to learn more about Klarna and what it’s like to work here?
