The National HBS Manager leads multiple HBS centers and is responsible for driving operational excellence, team performance, customer satisfaction, and cross‑functional alignment with Eagle and Lennar divisions. This role manages a team of associates, supports national program growth, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and investor requirements. Through strong leadership, relationship building, and operational oversight, the Manager ensures homebuyers receive an outstanding experience while maximizing conversion opportunities and cost efficiency.
Your Responsibilities on the Team
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of multiple HBS centers, ensuring productivity, service quality, and team performance.
• Lead, develop, and motivate HBS associates to achieve measurable goals, support career
growth, and maintain high engagement.
• Work closely with Eagle Division Managers, Mortgage Credit Specialist Managers, Loan Officers, Lennar Management, NHCs, and other partners to support referral education and pipeline growth.
• Develop, communicate, and execute nationwide growth strategies for the HBS organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Lennar and Eagle division leadership to secure new opportunities and expand sales channels.
• Partner with Secondary to monitor customer‑level risk trends and ensure sound pipeline
management.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and escalation support to promote a collaborative, solutions‑oriented team environment.
• Oversee customer communications and maintain consistent status updates for Eagle divisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align program messaging, consumer outreach, and engagement strategies.
• Ensure HBS activities remain compliant with federal regulations, investor requirements, and
corporate best‑practice standards.
• Resolve escalated issues with consumers or division partners, ensuring timely and professional problem resolution.
• Continuously evaluate operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead the implementation of enhanced workflows.
• Support cross‑training initiatives so associates can flex into multiple functional roles as needed.Your Toolbox
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of supervisory and management experience within the mortgage or lending industry (originations, processing, closing, underwriting of FHA/VA/Conventional loans).
• Minimum 1–3 years division‑level management experience preferred.
• 4–5 years of application/processing or comparable mortgage background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of loan programs, qualification requirements, and credit analysis.
• Proficiency with Automated Underwriting Systems (LP, DU, GUS).
• Ability to read, analyze, and communicate technical data and credit information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly and
positively.
• Demonstrated results orientation and ability to lead teams under pressure.
• Excellent customer service skills, strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism.
• Strong time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with Excel, Word, CRM systems, and advanced internet/email proficiency.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
