Overview:
The Head of People Partnering, Philippines leads the People strategy for one of LSEG’s largest Global Capability Centre (GCC) locations, ensuring alignment between global priorities and the local colleague experience.
The role also carries a global remit, shaping GCC transformation by advising on people strategy, leadership, and best practices across all LSEG GCC locations.
Operating at the intersection of country leadership, business priorities, and the global People Function, you will ensure the Philippines GCC is positioned to scale sustainably, build critical capabilities, deliver high performance, and maintain strong engagement and culture. Success requires navigating a highly matrixed environment, aligning multiple stakeholders, and integrating country insight with global strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Country Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the People strategy for the Philippines, ensuring alignment with global People priorities and business needs.
- Build and lead a high-performing CPP team, setting clear direction and capability development priorities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing decisions through insight, context, and challenge.
Global GCC Transformation
- Advise GCC Operations leadership and project teams globally on people implications of design choices.
- Recommend leadership and workforce themes focused on capability (not just headcount) for all LSEG GCCs.
- Identify and share guidelines from large-scale GCC environments across local markets.
- Partner with global and local teams to drive people-led opportunities that support speed, quality, and scale in GCC transformation.
- Act as a key voice in shaping the future operating model and talent strategy for LSEG’s global GCC network.
Capability & Workforce Development
- Develop the Philippines as a location of choice for talent and leadership.
- Strengthen capability pipelines, internal mobility, and critical talent retention.
- Ensure workforce strategies support long-term capability building.
Business Alignment & Matrix Navigation
- Align country priorities with business and functional strategies.
- Navigate complex matrix relationships across Country and Business People Partners, CoEs, and colleague services.
- Integrate local insight with global decisions for effective execution.
Culture, Engagement & Leadership
- Foster a high-performance, inclusive culture grounded in LSEG values.
- Use engagement and workforce data to drive targeted interventions.
- Coach leaders to build sustainable organizational capability.
Risk, Governance & Local Expertise
- Provide expert guidance on employment practices, regulatory requirements, and local workforce dynamics.
- Act as a key escalation point for complex people matters, balancing risk, culture, and commercial outcomes.
- Ensure strong governance and consistent application of policies within the local context.
Transformation & AI-Enabled Ways of Working
- Shift the People Function toward higher-value, insight-led work.
- Leverage data and technology to enhance decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
- Support the transition from process-heavy, coordination-led activity to more strategic, outcome-focused People partnering.
