Bus Intelligence Developer III
Responsible for designing, implementing, and modifying ETL (extract, transform, load) jobs and processes for the organizational data warehouse. Possesses a well-rounded understanding of data modeling, analytical skills, the ability to identify solutions to data problems, and to communicate the solutions effectively to the team leadership. Helps interpret business and technical requirements like mapping documents to support the ETL development process, and the execution of ETL jobs.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Reviews Foundation System reports and identifies advanced analytics needs with report consumers.
• Creates design specifications for new reports and modifies existing reports as necessary.
• Identifies and reviews the appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs.
• Creates new reports, using a third-party report writing tools such as Crystal reports, to display Clarity data.
• Performs and distributes reports to report consumers using Epic data, 3rd party data leveraging PowerBI.
• Tests report builds in a specified testing environment, and volume tests in live environments.
• Reviews upgrade documentation related to Clarity features and released Crystal reporting content and determines the implementation of the changes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Mathematics, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science or related field or an equivalent of work history and education and a HS Diploma or GED.
5+ years of experience within Information Technology, Health Care or relevant area.
- Certified in a minimum of 1 Epic module (examples: Radiant, Cupid, Stork, ASAP, EpicCare Amb/ IP, Willow Amb/IP, OpTime, Healthy Planet, Cosmos. Beacon)
- Certified Cogito, Caboodle
- Experienced in PowerBI and SQL min of 2 years.
- Ability to translate technical requirements to leadership and front-line staff for operational decisions.
