Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.Holman Upfitting has a great opportunity for a Brake Press Set Up/Operator to join our team in Huntington IN!Starting pay: $19-$21 per hour + 2nd shift 10% premiumShift: 2pm- 12:30am (2nd shift)  Four 10-hour days with a 3-day weekendBenefits include health, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, paid time off and more!Eligible for benefits within 30 days of employmentWhat will you do?Process material to blueprints providedChange out tooling for each jobProgram the machine for cut and bend length as requiredCheck parts before moving to the next station to ensure proper dimensionsCount all parts to ensure accuracy to production traveler packetPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned.Working with Amada brake pressTraining is 1-2 months from 5:30/6am- 6pmWhat are we looking for?Must be willing to train on 1st shift (5:30/6:00 am – 6:00 pm) for 1 to 2 months before transitioning to 2nd shiftBrake press Set Up/Operation Experience requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and part drawingsProficient with precision measuring tools, including calipers and the ability to read tape measures in hundredthsFamiliarity with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steelStrong math skills for measurements and quality checksForklift operation is a plusProgramming experience is a plusAmada press brake knowledge is a plusPositive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detailAt Holman, we don't just build and upfit vehicles, we build careers.
