As a Data Developer Senior Associate, you will specialize in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will assist businesses in navigating the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Within our Office of General Counsel (OGC) practice, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you will grow your personal brand, deepen your technical skills, and enhance your awareness of strengths.
As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems and mentor others, maintaining professional standards. You will anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions. Embracing increased ambiguity, you will be comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, using these moments as opportunities to grow. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information. Your role will be pivotal in supporting strategic guidance across various industries, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Providing strategic guidance on privacy laws and data protection regulations to clients across various industries
- Developing privacy policies and conducting privacy impact assessments to safeguard personal information
- Implementing data protection measures to confirm compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Navigating complex legal situations to minimize risks and maintain compliance
- Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver quality solutions
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex concepts and inform insights and recommendations
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including the Firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Leveraging cybersecurity and privacy tools to enhance data protection strategies
- Collaborating with teams to develop privacy program initiatives and regulatory compliance consulting
- Engaging in records management policies and legal document review to support client objectives
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
