Job Summary

Group Technology is key to enabling the DBS vision of being the leading bank in Asia. With a constantly evolving technology environment and ecosystem, risk aggregation and analytics remained a critical component in ensuring adequate visibility of risk concerns and hotspots. This position plays a key role in supporting the regular risk measurement and monitoring of technology risk.

Job Responsibilities

Technology Risk Analytics & Intelligence

• Ensure timely and accurate production and reporting of key technology risk metrics.

• Perform deep-dives and thematic analysis of risk performance trends for actionable insights.

• Work on data modelling techniques, simulations and calibrations for risk aggregation.

• Actively engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across Technology units on actionable insights, updates, and commentaries.

• Provide requirements for automation of risk metrics onto Technology Risk Workbench.

Management Reporting

• Support preparation and collation of data for key management, business reviews, and presentations:

  • CEO reviews, CIO reviews, Board Risk, Group Technology Risk Committee, ad-hoc senior management presentations.

  • Regulatory and Technology Risk related management reporting including regulatory request for information (RFI), Technology Risk Forum, and MAS updates.

Experience & Qualifications

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience preferably with exposure on risk management and management reporting.

• Background in Engineering, Business Finance, Business & Data Analytics or Risk Management.

Competencies & Qualities

• Highly proficient in MS Excel tools and comfortable in working on huge datasets with advanced data modelling skillsets required.

• Strong in PowerPoint presentations and able to craft, design, edit and deliver PowerPoint fast and of high quality.

• Genuine interest, savvy or fluent in AI and data-driven approaches to risk intelligence.

• Appreciates the value in high quality and powerful presentations.

• People oriented, process driven and outcome focused.

• Meticulous in handling data, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.

• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and influencing skills required to drive active and robust stakeholder engagement.
