SUPO, where required) Why this role matters: As an EHS Specialist, you will support the implementation and continuous improvement of our Environment, Health & Safety programs across our site in Valencia. You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our people safe, our operations compliant, and our safety culture strong. We enable fast decisions that contribute to a safer future. Founded and headquartered in Finland, ICEYE operates globally with over 1000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Your day-to-day responsibilities Ensure facility compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulationsConduct regular workplace inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments in accordance with global practicesLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up on corrective/preventive actionsDevelop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levelsMaintain and test emergency response plans and procedures What we’re looking for Must haves: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentSolid working knowledge of Spanish EHS legislation and regulatory frameworksProficient in EHS management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and data reporting toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills (experience in 5-Why, fishbone, or other RCA methodologies)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Nice to haves: Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience working with contractors and managing permit-to-work systems Application Process Talent Acquisition InterviewHiring Manager InterviewTechnical/Case Study Interview Working at ICEYE At ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
