About the role
The Senior Director of Revenue Management leads the overall revenue strategy for the two properties - Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre.
As a key member of the Hotels Leadership Team, this role is responsible for maximizing revenue across all segments and distribution channels while ensuring alignment between Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, Reservations, and Operations.
We are looking for a commercially minded strategist who understands the luxury traveller, market dynamics, guest booking behaviour and distribution landscape; brings strong pricing, segmentation, forecasting and total revenue management capability; and can influence senior stakeholders through trusted relationships, clear communication and compelling data-led recommendations, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in line with Four Seasons values and The Golden Rule.
Our ideal Senior Director of Revenue Management candidate will have:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Reservations around a clear revenue strategy and shared business priorities.
- Previous Director of Revenue Management experience within a luxury hotel environment, ideally with responsibility for a cluster or two or more properties, and a strong track record of translating business analytics into clear commercial strategy and measurable revenue performance and leading the team.
What you will do
- Develop, communicate and implement revenue strategies designed to maximize profit through optimization of pricing, market segmentation, channel segmentation and room type performance for two properties.
- Integrate guest behavior insights, including personas, booking behaviors and preferences, into commercial revenue strategies to optimize both guest experience and revenue performance.
- Monitor channel acquisition costs, contribution margins, and profitability metrics to inform pricing, distribution, and promotions for two properties.
- Own inventory, pricing, rate parity, and positioning in all distribution channels, including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites, Worldwide Reservation Office (WRO), and Global Distribution System (GDS) for two properties.
- Monitor and analyze performance of key metrics to uncover actionable data insights.
- Lead and facilitate Revenue Strategy Meetings, presenting key data insights with strategic and tactical recommendations.
- Lead annual budget planning processes and contribute to property commercial plan.
- Lead weekly forecast meetings, incorporating macroeconomic data to assess demand risk and ensuring alignment with market conditions, events and trends.
- Contribute guidance and recommendations to hotel digital marketing and communications teams, agencies, and vendors on campaigns.
- Collaborate with Sales team to set goals aligned with property strategy, provide strategic direction for Group Sales strategy and guidance for Corporate Negotiated RFPs.
- Enable cross-functional alignment to Commercial Strategy among Finance and Operations including upsell/premium room sales strategy.
- Provide guidance and support for Total Revenue Optimization across Rooms, F&B, SPA, M&E and Ancillary revenue streams.
What you bring
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Hotel Management, Marketing or a related field.
- Director of Revenue Management experience in a luxury hotel, resort or cluster environment, with proven ability to balance the priorities and performance expectations of multiple properties.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of driving revenue growth, profit optimization, market share performance and successful budget delivery.
- Advanced analytical capability, with the ability to interpret market trends, macroeconomic indicators, channel performance, contribution margins and guest behavior insights into actionable strategy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tell a clear story with data and influence senior stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Reservations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the Revenue function while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, coach and develop talent with aptitude and interest in a Revenue Management career.
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality, brand standards and guest expectations, with the ability to integrate brand strategy with local market initiatives. Ability to be a culture carrier, ensuring a strong Revenue Management culture is maintained throughout the organization.
- Proficiency in English language, additional language is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of revenue management systems, PMS, benchmarking and business intelligence tools; experience with IDeaS G3 RMS, IDeaS RevPlan, Opera PMS, STR, TravelClick, Lighthouse, PowerBI and advanced Excel is preferred.
