Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Leading the design, development, and testing of analog and high voltage electronic systems and components
  • Leading teams, guiding junior engineers, and conducting design reviews to ensure performance and reliability of undersea systems
  • Circuit design, simulation, prototyping, and collaboration with cross-functional technology teams

What you'll experience:

  • Lead an Analog design team with product ownership from initial concept definition through release to manufacturing
  • Design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic parts, components, and integrated circuits for subsea applications
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs using tools like SPICE and Cadence; support production and test engineering teams during transfer to manufacturing
  • Manage team assignments, develop schedules, monitor project progress, and evaluate intermediate and final results to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives
  • Contribute to roadmap formulation, new product concept development, and interface with customers to understand needs and troubleshoot issues
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation

What sets you apart:

  • Deep understanding of analog circuit design principles, topologies, and proficiency in CAD tools such as Mentor Graphics or Altium and SPICE for simulation and verification
  • High Voltage DC power systems/module design experience, including multiple power topology design from few watts to KW+ converters, power transmission systems, and HVDC technology
  • Experience with specialized laboratory equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.) for development, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systems
  • Experience writing specifications, requirements, and verification procedures for complex electronic systems and components
  • R&D experience with demonstrated ability to drive innovation around design architectures, component selection, and electronics design; Magnetics and High Speed Design experience desirable

Workplace Options:

This position is on-site with the option to flex moving forward. While on-site, you will be a part of the McLeansville Design Center.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $195,000.00 /Yr.
