As a Client Service Account Manager at JPMorganChase within the Payments team, you will own service delivery for a portfolio of Treasury Services clients and act as a trusted advisor on service and operating topics. You will partner closely with internal teams to resolve issues, identify opportunities, and strengthen long-term client relationships. You will also support and oversee a local team in Frankfurt, helping to set priorities, develop talent, and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
Job responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and broaden client partnerships by understanding client needs and proactively delivering solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing timely, professional communication and clear ownership of outcomes
- Execute client engagement and service plans in partnership with internal stakeholders
- Promote and enable effective use of self-service tools to reduce client inquiries and improve efficiency
- Analyze payment activity to identify service improvements and opportunities to deepen relationships
- Share best practices across the service team to improve consistency and client experience
- Participate in and support Treasury Services initiatives, including service enhancements and process improvements
- Build strong internal partnerships across sales, operations, and product teams to drive client outcomes
- Identify and escalate potential risks related to client activity and support appropriate controls and follow-up
- Set clear team goals, oversee day-to-day execution, and coach team members through feedback and development support
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness in a client-facing environment
- Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to build and mobilize internal networks and resources to deliver results for clients
- Proficiency in using and managing multiple systems to track, resolve, and document client interactions
- Client service, escalation, and portfolio management experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of Treasury Services products, processes, and risk policies
- Additional language skills beyond English and German
- Experience leading or supervising teammates in a service environment
