Snr/Technician, GQ Ops IE Modeling and Automation

Key Responsibilities
Lab Automation Support
Support setup, trial, qualification, and sustainment of automation tools such as Laser Mark, HAST ALU, Reflow Automation, AMHS/AMR/ARV, robotics, vision systems, and related equipment.
Assist engineers during installation, dry run, debug, FAT/SAT/PAC, UAT, qualification, and release activities.
Support automation tool pass down and provide training to operation team
Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting, recovery, and escalation for automation tools.
Monitor tool performance, downtime, repeat issues, and safety concerns.
GQ AMHS Support
Support AMHS workflow testing, system trial runs, and operational readiness.
Verify lot movement, tool status, material flow, load port readiness, carrier handling, and system transaction accuracy.
Record system issues and support follow-up with engineers, IT, automation teams, and equipment team.
Follow up with site-auto team and ES on AMHS ground deployment, and counter tray recipe, ARV/AGV, RMS readiness.
Support AMHS pass down and provide training to operation team.
IE Modeling Support
Support engineers in collecting and maintaining data for IE modeling.
Support validation of planning assumptions against actual lab performance.
Assist with data accuracy checks for capacity planning, tool loading, productivity, and ramp readiness.
Provide feedback on workflow gaps, manual effort, and improvement opportunities to support better modeling accuracy.
Lab Automation and Documentation
Prepare lots, trays, boards, carriers, fixtures, and materials for automation trials and qualification runs.
Follow SOP, OCAP, ESD, safety, 6S, and quality requirements during all activities.
Maintain checklists, issue logs, training records, troubleshooting guides, and shift handover notes.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Automation, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Experience in equipment operation, manufacturing, lab operations, maintenance support, automation support, or data collection.
Basic computer skills, including Excel, manufacturing systems, dashboards, or digital forms.
Good teamwork, communication, ownership, and willingness to learn.
Leveraging AI, Generative AI, and AI Assistants (e.g., Copilot, LLMs, Agentic AI) to automate reporting, dashboards, and workflow approvals, improving efficiency through AI-enabled and AI-augmented solutions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor, reliability lab, backend, test, automation equipment support.
Exposure to AMHS, AMR/ARV/AGV, MES/MAM, robotics, vision systems, laser marking, auto loader/unloader, or equipment integration.
Understanding of reliability lab capacity, lab process and operation.
Experience supporting UAT, tool buyoff, qualification, vendor activities, KPI reporting, or equipment release.
