Analyst, Deal Desk & Contract Analytics
Position Overview:
This role is responsible for ensuring accurate cost assignment, margin transparency, revenue recognition support, and overage billing integrity across client contracts. The position will operationalize a structured tracking process that consolidates contractual entitlements and reconciles them against actual platform and service usage across multiple enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pull usage data from Snowflake.
• Map usage to contract entitlements.
• Maintain entitlement vs. usage dashboards.
• Refresh dashboards monthly.
• QA anomalies (usage spikes, missing account IDs, mismatches).
• Prepare monthly, CS-ready insights.
• Partner with CS Ops, BI, and Data Engineering on data issues.
• Execute monthly entitlement-to-usage reconciliation processes across all tracked customer contracts.
• Produce variance analyses and identify revenue leakage, unbilled overages, and margin risks.
Ideal Skills:
• Data reconciliation and exception management.

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Financial Systems, Revenue Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with contract-based or usage-based pricing models.
• Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts, contract structures, and margin reporting.
• Advanced SQL skills (Snowflake preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce and enterprise data systems.
• Expertise in dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in SaaS, advertising technology, or data platform environments.
• Familiarity with Apptio or cost modeling platforms.
• Knowledge of platform metering frameworks.
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional organization.
