What You Will Do:

  • Lead system optimization initiatives to improve throughput, reliability, asset utilization, and financial performance across the Liquids Pipelines network.

  • Develop and maintain integrated operational, hydraulic, and economic models to support strategic planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.

  • Identify, evaluate, and quantify opportunities to enhance EBITDA through operational, commercial, and energy optimization strategies.

  • Analyze system constraints, expansion opportunities, market access alternatives, and capacity recovery initiatives to support long-term growth.

  • Lead power market and energy cost analyses, including utility rate structures, procurement strategies, forecasting, and efficiency opportunities.

  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory teams to develop business cases and strategic recommendations.

  • Apply advanced analytics, scenario modeling, and optimization techniques to drive data-based decision making and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

  • University degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, Operations Research, Business, or a related analytical discipline.

  • 7+ years of experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, oil & gas, consulting, analytics, or related industries.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills with experience developing economic, operational, or forecasting models.

  • Proven ability to translate complex technical and financial analysis into clear business recommendations and strategic insights.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions across multiple functions.

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, or similar platforms is considered an asset.

  • Experience developing business cases for large capital investments or strategic initiatives.

  • Knowledge of optimization methodologies, simulation modeling, forecasting, or operations research techniques.

Preferred:

  • Experience with pipeline operations, energy markets, power markets, utility rate structures, or regulated infrastructure businesses is preffered.

  • Advanced credentials such as an MBA, Master's degree, P.Eng., CFA, would be an asset.
