About the RoleData Scientist II will support operations in Wahiawa, HI. This role involves extracting meaning and value from large datasets through the application of mathematical, statistical, and programming methods. You will translate mission needs and analytic questions into technical requirements while communicating complex findings to non-technical audiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevise strategies for analyzing and characterizing large datasetsApply mathematical, statistical, and computer science methods to extract insightsTranslate mission needs into technical requirementsDevelop and implement qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniquesCommunicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholdersQualifications & RequirementsU.S. Citizenship Required️ Active TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance Required
Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 5+ yearsRelevant degree fields include:Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or physical/biological sciences with advanced math/computer science courseworkCertificate in Data Science may be considered with broader degrees
Experience in:Machine learning, data modeling, statistical analysis, programming (e.g., Python), data mining, software engineeringPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience in multiple areas of data science and analyticsFamiliarity with NSA/CSS data systems and capabilities
