Cage & Player Services Supervisor – Tropicana Laughlin
Summary
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising all phases of the Cage during an assigned shift, and providing Caesars Entertainment’s legendary Family Style Service.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all cage operations including cash handling, credit issuance, chip accountability, and regulatory compliance
- Supervise Caesars Rewards desk and ensure seamless integration of guest loyalty programs
- Train and mentor team members to deliver exceptional customer service aligned with the resort’s Family-Style hospitality values
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of transactions, prepare daily reports, and maintain secure asset controls
- Support guest relations by resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences and meet property standards
- Monitor shift staffing levels, delegate responsibilities, and lead by example in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in cage operations, cashiering, or guest services (preferably within the gaming or hospitality industry)
- Strong understanding of Caesars Rewards program or similar loyalty systems
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with AML Title 31 regulations and internal control procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus)
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Excellent math skills
- Fluent in English for effective communication
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
