At Cytiva, one of Danaher’s 15+ operating companies, our work saves lives—and we’re all united by a shared commitment to innovate for tangible impact.

Working at Cytiva means being at the forefront of providing new solutions to transform human health. Our incredible customers undertake life-saving activities ranging from fundamental biological research to developing innovative vaccines, new medicines, and cell and gene therapies.

At Cytiva you will be able to continuously improve yourself and us – working on challenges that truly matter with people that care for each other, our customers, and their patients. Take your next step to an altogether life-changing career.

Learn about the Danaher Business System which makes everything possible.

This role exists because technology alone does not transform a business — redesigned ways of working do. The AI Transformation & Adoption Director, you will own how Cytiva functions and Opco’s reinvent their workflows with AI and how that change is sustained.

You will lead a team that partners deeply with teams to identify where AI creates the most value, redesign the underlying processes, and drive adoption to measurable outcomes.

Reporting to the VP, Data, Digital & AI, you will set direction and be accountable for turning our AI investments into durable business results.

What you will do:

  • Own the functional transformation agenda for Cytiva, partnering with Danaher Corporate and Cytiva function leaders to identify, prioritize, and sequence the workflow redesigns that will deliver the greatest business value, ensuring the where-and-what of transformation connects seamlessly to the how of delivery.

  • Redesign end-to-end workflows, not just tasks, challenging existing processes, removing waste, and rebuilding how work flows before layering in AI, so that automation compounds rather than paves over inefficiency. You'll partner with engineering, data platform and external partner teams to ensure redesigned workflows are supported by durable, well-architected solutions rather than fragile point fixes.

  • Act as a trusted business partner to function heads and their leadership teams, translating operational pain into a clear transformation roadmap with committed outcomes and owners.

  • Own the change management model, stakeholder alignment, capability building, communications, and the behavioral shift required for adoption to stick after go-live. You'll also build the operating rhythm and standards for how transformation work is scoped, staffed, governed, and measured. In addition you'll embed responsible adoption, working with legal, compliance, security, and quality so that risk, data sensitivity, and regulatory considerations are designed in from the start.

Who you are:

  • A proven functional or transformation leader and delivered measurable, durable business outcomes — not just run projects.

  • Commercially and operationally literate. You think in terms of value, sequencing, organizational readiness, and total cost of change, and you can hold your own in a CFO or function-head conversation.

  • A credible business partner. You build trust with senior stakeholders and can drive change across a complex, matrixed organization without relying on formal authority.

  • Fluent enough in AI to lead it. You do not need to build the models, but you understand what AI and agentic automation can and cannot do, and you know how to turn that into workflow change.

  • A strong people leader who sets direction, develops talent, and builds capability in others. You bring discipline to how transformation is scoped, measured, and sustained, and you raise the bar for how the organization works. You're also a clear, confident communicator who can move between executive strategy and frontline reality with equal credibility.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • A background in finance, operations, or another core function, with first-hand experience of the workflows you will be asked to transform.

  • Exposure to life sciences, biotech, or other regulated industries, with a working understanding of GxP, data integrity, and the compliance nuances of change in regulated contexts.

  • Experience influencing across a multi-OpCo structure.
